Based on 202 reviewsVerified Fantastic food, the owners are wonderful people who care about their restaurant and giving back to the community. Fun place with great specials too. Working my way through the menu. John H.Verified The last time my wife and I went we were ignored. After they waited on 2 groups that came in after us we left. I probably won't be back. Donald W.Verified Wow. If you want good Orleans food and the best Oysters for 200 miles then this is your place!!!! Chad R.Verified After reading all the wonderful reviews, we were so disappointed with our meal. My gumbo was so thin and watery and bordered on burnt and was COLD. The roast beef sandwich was good but again not very warm. The catfish plate wasn't too bad, but again everything on it was cold. I hope they were having an off night - it was busy but nothing was up to par! Martha M.Verified I have been here a few times, posted 2 years ago. Last time I was here a guy told me to try the blackened lake pontchatrain and today I did and I think we found desoto county's best dish! Jarris S.Verified Tasty spinach artichoke dip, the chips served with it were I believe some Tostitos. The Tostitos kinda took away from the spinach dip for me because they were so salty-but I realize that they are probably a more cost effective and less laborious thing to serve with it. Husband said his shrimp po'boy was great. And we both agreed that their French fries were very good. I ordered a half dozen seasoned broiled oysters-unfortunately it was difficult to actually taste the flavor of the oysters due to the absolutely overwhelming amount of VERY SALTY seasonings. I was able to scrape enough off of the other oysters to enjoy the seasoning, parmesan cheese and oysters after the mistake of eating the first one as presented. There was a tiny piece of toasted baguette which accompanied the oysters.. It was my favorite part of the dish because I was able to dip the bread into the briney yet slightly seasoned essence from each oyster to get the taste of the shellfish for which I had been seeking. Had a nice cup of gumbo as well. Service was attentive, quick, and very welcoming. The restaurant has a very pleasant atmosphere. This was our second visit. There will definitely be more. Just hope that kitchen is a bit less heavy handed with the sirracha(so much to the point it left a bitter aftertaste) and let the seafood flavor come through by maybe adjusting overseasoning. Got son a burger to go to take him some lunch at work. It looked awesome and VERY BEEFY. So next time in I will sample a burger... McKenzie B.Verified Tried for a time to order online and it kept saying online service not available . Called and was told they were extremely busy with 2 large parties and had to turn ordering off. Was told to try again in 10 minutes and she would turn service back on or for us to call back and order by phone . Online ordering never turned back on so called and they had turned their phones off. Said number you were calling is not available at this time . If this establishment is that busy then they need to move to a bigger building and hire more staff because that is horrible customer service . Carla D.Verified Super friendly owner and staff. Every item that I've tried has been really good. My absolute favorite is the Etoufee Balls. Their shrimp dishes are excellent, and they have great burgers. Jeff M.Verified Love this Cajun spot! The food is flavorful and authentic, and it's family-owned (pretty sure). A must-visit if you're in the area! Bailey G.Verified After eight hours of driving, we were in town for one night. What incredible luck to find 2 Crazy Fellas! We practically licked the plates of our catfish pontchartrain and took a decadent king cake pudding to go. Wonderful, courteous service too...we'd return, without a doubt. Our only regret? Too full for oysters! Jennifer S.
